What do Omnidots SMS messages look like?

Using the Omnidots solution, you can customize your alarm notifications and be notified of exceedances and other events by mail and/or SMS.

The SMS has 3 variants:

  • Vtop
  • Atop
  • PVS

In this example, the measuring point is called "SWARM 1 demo measuring point" and the sensor name is "HOSEVE".

The Vtop message looks like this:

Swarm 1 demo measuri
HOSEVE
2019-07-25 16:35:06
X
Fd 0.0Hz
Vt 0.0mm/s
0.0%
Y
Fd 2.0Hz
Vt 9.0mm/s
60.5%
Z
Fd 0.0Hz
Vt 0.0mm/s
0.0%

The Atop message looks like this:

Swarm 1 demo measuri
HOSEVE
2019-07-25 16:37:06
X
Fd 0.0Hz
At 0.0mm/s2
0.0%
Y
Fd 2.0Hz
At 900.0mm/s2
90.0%
Z
Fd 0.0Hz
At 0.0mm/s2
0.0%

And the PVS message like this:

Swarm 1 demo measuri
HOSEVE
2019-07-25 16:35:06
PVS
Vt 9.0mm/s
60.5%

The measuring point is displayed with up to 20 characters and the numbers are shown as '> 999' if they are above 999. This was done to save space for other notification data, as the space in a text message is limited.
