      How do I set up a permanent API token in Honeycomb?

      Follow these steps to create a permanent API token:

      1. Log in to Honeycomb.
      2. Visit the API token page: https://honeycomb.omnidots.com/api/token_list
      3. Click on 'Create token'.
      4. Provide a token description. This could be, for instance, the user's or application's name.
      5. You will be taken back to the API token page, where the token's description will appear in a list. The token will be shown in a green banner at the top of the page. Note that it will only be shown once, so make sure to copy it.
      6. Save the token in a secure and accessible place.

      You can now use the token to access the Honeycomb API. It is active permanently or until the token is deleted. You can delete the token or edit its description on the page where you created it.
